The interPRO solution for treatment monitoring in professional cooperation

The interPRO solution connects a nursing application to a pharmacy application. The solution can integrate a Medipac pill dispenser and a caregiver application.

The interPRO solution allows you to monitor your patient's treatment, enabling you to adjust your prescription for better long-term health results.

You provide information on compliance, side effects and additional medications. The data feeds into a medicationreport available in the DMP for exchanging and reviewing treatment. Use is free of charge. The Medissimo Infirmière application is available on the stores.

Contribute to the proper use of medication by telling the doctor to add "Medissimo Nurse application in interPRO with medication review" to the prescription.

Mono Multi solutions for secure medication management in healthcare facilities

The Mono Multi solution includes a pill dispenser secured by a pharmacist's application, which is connected to a care management software package. The solution can integrate an administration traceability application.

The Mono Multi solution makes it easy to track prescription, dispensing and administration data, as well as iatrogenic risk prevention indicators. This enables you to adjust your treatment for better long-term health outcomes.

The doctor exports his prescription to the pharmacy, the pharmacist dispenses treatments in pillboxes and exports the contents of the treatments to the establishments, and the nurse delegates administration and provides information to feed into assessments that enable treatments to be revised.

How does medication reconciliation promote the proper use of drugs?

Medication assessment records and analyzes patient treatment data to guarantee safe, effective and personalized care.

The aim of this interoperable tool is to share drug information in order to strengthen collaboration between healthcare professionals, improve patientcare and reduce iatrogenic risks associated with treatment.

Developed using the Medissimo platform, this assessment can be used as part of pharmaceutical interviews and for medication conciliation during medical consultations.

This shared medication review can be consulted in the applications of the various players in the care pathway (professionals, patients, caregivers), as well as in the Dossier Médical Partagé (DMP).

How does Medissimo Infirmière help prevent iatrogenic risk?

chloe

Chloé is the private nurse for Paul, 72, who lives alone in his own home. Depressed, he suffers from heart failure with atrial fibrillation and osteoarthritis of the knee requiring analgesic treatment.

A fragile, multi-medicated patient, his medication is delivered in a secure Medipac pillbox by his pharmacist, who prepares the doses to be administered.

Without a family environment, he relies on an auxiliaire de Vie Sociale every day to run errands and help prepare meals. Chloé comes to his home every week to provide clinical supervision.

The Medissimo Nurse solution solution enables nurses to monitor by nurses, to help ensure compliance and inform healthcare professionals in the event of risks. It is free to use.

How can Mono Multi pillboxes combined with in-house software prevent errors?

benedicte

This is the day-to-day task of Bénédicte, health care manager at EHPAD Les Myrtilles: optimizing medication distribution time and avoiding errors. For some time now, Bénédicte has been noticing organizational shortcomings that are complicating her mission and costing her time.

Bénédicte chases prescriptions and medication. Treatment changes and emergency management are becoming increasingly disorganized. Bénédicte has the impression that there are shortcomings in the medication circuit.

The Mono Multi solution helps Bénédicte to secure the medication circuit and facilitates cooperation with the pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

Is Medipac recyclable?

Made from recycled PET and recyclable cardboard, the Medipac pill dispenser is recyclable. Remember to respect confidentiality by concealing information on the pill dispenser before disposing of it.

Medipac is not reimbursed by the Assurance Maladie. Some pharmacists charge for Medipac, others do not. The price can be as much as €4 per pillbox (or per week). Preparation is free of charge. You can choose a Medissimo partner pharmacy by using the "Find a pharmacy" tool.

You can choose a Medissimo pharmacy using the "Find a pharmacy" tool. If you ask us, we'll contact the pharmacy of your choice. We'll train them free of charge in the Medipac service, and give them a month's supply of Medipac pillboxes.

Pierce the correct Medipac compartment through the back of the pill dispenser when it's flat. Take the medication one at a time.

The Medipac pill dispenser helps you take your medication properly, so you don't forget, make mistakes or contaminate it. It's a 7-day single-use pillbox prepared and secured by a pharmacist using a professional digital application. An official study has shown that the Medipac pillbox improves compliance by up to 98% in the 1st month.

Tablets and capsules are kept in the pillbox if the dosage is regular. Otherwise, they remain in their boxes like other medicines, in sachets for example. A "MEDICAMENTS EN BOITE" label on the pill dispenser specifies the list of medicines remaining in their boxes.

No, there is no charge for preparing doses at the pharmacy. It is offered to your patient. The family can purchase a box of 12 pillboxes from our website medissimo.fr and have them delivered to the pharmacy. We can also send you the names of pharmacies that offer the pill dispenser service if the patient or family are without resources.

Medipac® pill dispenser® is at the patient's expense. The recommended retail price in pharmacies is €4 incl. VAT per week. For patients with limited resources, the pharmacist can offer the Medipac®. We can send you the names of pharmacies that do this.

Yes, putting pills in a pillbox is a nursing skill.

Yes, of course, this pillbox is called the Medipac box. It is available in pharmacies.

Go to the stores. Then call your pharmacist and ask him or her to activate your application. Don't forget to prepare pillboxes, if this is useful.

Medissimo Infirmière lets you adapt doses in real time from the app's "Adapting doses" menu. You can also monitor medication compliance and produce a medication report for the attending physician.

This procedure enables IDELs to be called upon for non-addictive patients whom they see only occasionally, and for whom the therapeutic strategy may need to be reconsidered.

Depending on the characteristics of the treatment, the pharmacist will offer to dispense the drugs with or without their original packaging.

Depending on the characteristics of the treatment and the patient's state of health, the pharmacist may offer to dispense medication by the week (1 pillbox) or by the month (4 pillboxes). This is discussed with you on a case-by-case basis.

No, the blisters are compartmentalized and the compartments are sealed.

Yes, AIS4 is reserved for dependent patients. The new nursing act of accompanying oral therapy at home, on the other hand, is intended for non-dependent patients of all ages.

The nursing application is free of charge and requires no subscription.

Yes, of course, as long as you have asked the pharmacist to register all the IDELs in the practice for the patients concerned. This will also improve internal communication within the practice and facilitate transmission.

Yes, that's the whole point of the Medipac®. Administration is traceable in real time, whatever your practice's schedule.

Not directly. As far as pharmacists are concerned, compliance data collected at home by IDELs, when shared via the Medipac application, enable pharmacists to draw up a medication assessment.

No, this new procedure applies to non-addictive patients with multiple drug dependencies, regardless of age, when implementing or modifying a treatment or during a clinical situation likely to call into question the therapeutic strategy.

Yes, even if the plastic pill dispenser doesn't meet the new procedure's safety, traceability and tamper-evident requirements.

No, you don't need to cross-check with the initial prescription. The pharmacist is responsible for what he prepares. On the other hand, the original medical prescription is the property of the patient, and must be returned to him or her, regardless of how the medication is dispensed, and of course you can consult it.

It's business as usual. Pharmacists sometimes deliver, just as you sometimes drop off a prescription at the pharmacy or pick up boxes of medication. For them, as for you, this remains a free service. The app doesn't change that. In most situations, it's the caregivers who take care of this task by running their own errands.

It is usual to dispense 4 Medipacs prepared for one month. For your patients whose treatment is unstable, it is preferable to ask the pharmacist to dispense Medipacs per week, unless you leave the unstable medication in the box. In any case, it will be tracked in Medissimo Infirmière. It's up to you to decide, according to your preference.

For short durations, it may be simplest to prepare the treatment in a conventional pillbox, but you can track its administration via the app.

Yes, in the patient's DMP

No, you can ask the pharmacist to deliver the treatment with full traceability. In this case, you fill the pill dispenser yourself, using either plastic pillboxes or Medipac pillboxes supplied by the pharmacist (ready-to-fill, with traceability labels).

The aim is to make your practice safer, not to change your habits, so the safest thing is to have a single pillbox as before, except that it's a Medipac pillbox, and boxes next to it to keep track of all medication taken.

Compliance assessment

The compliance report is a summary table of medication taken, enabling treatments to be re-evaluated from the Pharmacist App and the Establishment App.

The assessment is available for each patient on the nursing and pharmacy applications.

The assessment provides a global and detailed view of compliance, and helps to better understand the reasons for non-administration at any given time. The physician's analysis of the assessment enables him/her to take action to encourage proper use of the medication.

Assessment of proper use

The "bilan de bon usage" is a set of summary tables used to identify at-risk patients and drugs from the Medissimo Pharmacien app.

The balance sheet is available to the establishment on the pharmacy application.

The assessment provides an overall view of the risks associated with medication at any given time. The physician's analysis of the assessment enables him/her to take action to promote the proper use of medication.

The MEDISSIMO platform offers a secure, traceable treatment service for patients at home and in residential care, including pillboxing of medicines in the pharmacy and treatment monitoring in cooperation with healthcare professionals and their families.

The platform brings together the pharmacist, who delivers the treatment with full traceability, and the patient or his or her homecare assistant, who fills in the dosages from the MEDIPAC® pillbox prepared by a healthcare professional, and the nurse, who monitors the treatment in liaison with the pharmacist and the family, and informs the doctor in the event of a medication risk.

In line with the public health priority defined in the national health strategy, the pharmacist - nurse - attending physician triad is at the heart of the platform designed by MEDISSIMO, with the aim of promoting the proper use of medicines.
