Éric Jean Salat's opinion
Patient-expert in HIV and viral hepatitis and health system user representative in DACs and MSPs

The act by which the doctor prescribes the appropriate medication and which we agree to take is based on a moral contract between the practitioner and the patient, who by consenting accepts the doctor's conclusions... this moral contract is based on a shared decision. The correct use of a treatment is not innate, and the so-called compliance rate is very poor (32% in the study, close to 50% in the literature), even for serious pathologies such as cancer, HIV and so on.
In response, Medissimo is developing a range of solutions for the individual, based on the mobilization of dispensing pharmacists and new technologies."

Good compliance with treatment is a major public health issue for all our patients.
The targeting of pillbox-equipped patients is evolving, paving the way for a younger generation in need of tools to support their treatment. The weekly pill dispenser is becoming the norm, and a Medissimo application has been added to our "post-delivery monitoring" toolbox.
Kimed paves the way for dialogue and multi-professional coordination, with the patient at the heart of the system. The exchange of intake events, the maintenance of dialogue via a secure chat, and the traceability of self-medication, enable us to maintain dialogue with our patient at home. Generating the medication review and sharing it with the prescriber leads to patient-centered synergy on the part of all the healthcare professionals involved."
Thierry Munini's opinion
Nurse in Orange (Vaucluse)

Using the app, I realize that I've never been so interested in how my patients, for example, take their prescribed painkillers on an "as-needed" basis.
In the end, as I produce this assessment, I realize that patients are reluctant to take them, and tolerate pain thresholds of up to 4 or 5 on the numerical scale. Unfortunately, they let the pain settle in, which has consequences for depression, sleep, appetite and mobility, especially in frail patients.
Medication assessment is a real support for therapeutic patient education and for avoiding lost chances."

The MEDISSIMO platform offers a secure, traceable treatment service for patients at home and in residential care, including pillboxing of medicines in the pharmacy and treatment monitoring in cooperation with healthcare professionals and their families.
The platform brings together the pharmacist, who delivers the treatment with full traceability, and the patient or his or her homecare assistant, who fills in the dosages from the MEDIPAC® pillbox prepared by a healthcare professional, and the nurse, who monitors the treatment in liaison with the pharmacist and the family, and informs the doctor in the event of a medication risk.
In line with the public health priority defined in the national health strategy, the pharmacist - nurse - attending physician triad is at the heart of the platform designed by MEDISSIMO, with the aim of promoting the proper use of medicines.
