When the pill dispenser is prepared by the pharmacist with full traceability, this means that it is accompanied by information that enables the patient to be reliably identified and the preparation of the dispenser to be verified (prescription, leaflet, etc.).
Whether the pharmacist has prepared the pill dispenser himself or entrusted this task to one of his associates, it is the pharmacist who assumes responsibility for ensuring that the dispenser conforms to the medical prescription he has validated in terms of molecules and dosage. This is an obligation of result towards the patient: to guarantee that the contents comply with the medical prescription.
Of course, this does not mean that the nurse has no obligations. He must check the conformity of the pill dispenser, in full compliance with article 10 of the NGAP. However, from a technical point of view, i.e., in terms of content (quality and quantity of tablets, capsules), he is bound by an obligation of means, not of result.
In other words, he or she must demonstrate that he or she has checked that the pill dispenser complies with the prescription, which the MEDIPAC IDEL application enables him or her to do by using the Medissimo platform.
