It is not necessary for pharmacists and private nurses who work together to administer medication at home in MEDIPAC pillboxes to enter into contracts with each other. In this way, they can retain their full independence and, thanks to the Medissimo platform, work in coordinated practice while respecting the patient's freedom of choice.
Their respective regulatory and contractual responsibilities are sufficient to clarify the obligations of both parties, without the need for a contract between them.
In addition, self-employed nurses can work independently, in health centers or in CPTSs, but this has no impact on the chain of responsibility.
As for the patient, he or she is protected by the cumulative application of the public health code, the social security code and agreements with the French health insurance scheme. Finally, the only obligations binding IDELs and pharmacists using the same Medissimo platform are their legal, regulatory and ethical duties.
